（加西网综合）加拿大一位网红正在分享他永久移居菲律宾的经历。他的理由是：加拿大的生活成本很高。

约翰·维克托里诺表示：“随着我们两人可以远程工作，以及大多伦多地区 (GTA) 的生活成本呈指数级增长，我们采取这一举措更符合逻辑。”

这位 33 岁的网红在多伦多出生和长大，从事科技工作并担任社交媒体顾问。但他也在网上以创作有关菲律宾文化的有趣剪辑成为网红。

他说：“创作菲律宾怀旧内容是我的副业”。

2 月 13 日，他发布了一段视频，宣布和妻子 KC 已永久移居菲律宾，令粉丝们感到惊讶。

We left Canada. Here is what happened 👇 Since 2017 I knew that the Philippines was where my heart was. It wasn’t until Kc and I found ourselves on a 16 hour layover in Manila (2019) that we decided to take the leap of faith. We are both born and raised in Toronto, Canada with both families being 1st Gen immigrants. Phase 1: testing the waters - we flew to the Philippines as soon as lockdown finished in Toronto. We travelled around the islands for 2 months, visiting a lot of tourist spots. Phase 2: we got married, alongside our family and friends. Then lived like locals in Metro Manila for 6 months - no traveling, no beaches - just living - to see if this was really for us. Phase 3 - the present. We said goodbye to our family and friends and have recently landed in our new home. I know we’re super priviledged to be in this position and that many people in the Philippines wish to leave. 对此，不少网友不同意这对夫妇的决定。

一位观众写道：“你会百分百后悔的，度假很有趣……但不值得为此丢掉性命。”

但对于维多里诺来说，移居菲律宾“是一个合乎逻辑又感性的决定”。

他说：“菲律宾在我心中一直占有特殊的地位——文化、我的家庭和人民”。

他承认，他们“非常荣幸”能够从加拿大搬到菲律宾，而对于许多菲律宾人来说，搬到美国或加拿大是一个梦想。但除了想要与家人更亲近之外，他说加拿大的生活变得太昂贵了。
